I have been lurking around the forum a lot lately and I figured it was time to join in. I started playing electric guitar about 15 years ago and then migrating towards acoustic about 5 years ago. Right now I am at the very beginning of playing Flamenco. I am working through a couple of books and YouTube videos. I have also been exploring online lessons as there is not really any teachers around from what I can tell. I am in the part of the state that is not Chicago. Most of the time I see that as a benefit except when it comes to music. Next step is to get a proper flamenco guitar. I tend to have more money than sense when it comes to guitars so I am trying to be careful about this next purchase.
