Hello all!
I grew up in the DC area and fell in love with Flamenco while in high school back in the 90s. I play bluegrass guitar, not Flamenco alas (took a few lessons in DC from a fellow named Paco de Malaga, that's all; great scene down there! At least for the US... ), but I absolutely love and admire Flamenco. I collect Flamenco CDs (real physical CDs, since I was born in the late 70s and CDs still mean something to me - ha!), and used to love going to the Flamenco Festival at Lisner Auditorium in DC. We get some Flamenco up here in MA too; Tomatito and Vicente Amigo in the last year or so. Anyway, I'm currently having fun exploring some of the newer players (or at least new to me) like Jesus Guerrero.
