Yeah I did but I'm having a hard time pinpointing what you find difficult in it so I was wondering if the original track was different or something. The melody sounds like it's following a typical tientos rhythm. I don't know how you're using the metronome here but maybe try "half-timing" it? By that I mean play at the same speed you are now but put the metronome at half the speed. Sometimes if you put the metronome on "too fast" you can get tripped up on syncopations and I feel that counting only half the beats can help with that. In my head I'm singing along like this: 1 2 (3) ... 1 2 (3) ... 1 2 (3) bada .... tagata(da) and marking the beat on the parts in parenthesis. If you're breaking it up in strictly binary form, I guess it would be like this (here each thing in parenthesis is just one of the notes of the melody): (5) 6 (7) 8 / (1) 2 3 (4) / 5 6 (7) 8 / (1) 2 3 (4) / 5 6 (7) 8 / (1) 2 3 (4) / (5) 6 7 8 / (1 end of the rasgueado) 2 3 4 / repeat. Not the best representation lol. Then add that slight shuffle feel if necessary, throw in the trills and that's pretty much it no? I wouldn't follow that rythm to the letter or it won't really sound like tientos, but it's just as a crutch I guess. Anyways, that's all I got! PS: oh and that first (5) can also be the 4 right before it, that way it really is the same pattern all the way through. lol now I just read over my post and I feel like I'm the one who's been taking crazy pills!
