I came across this from our late, loved Ron M. regarding regret and I wanted to share it.

quote:

They say "Life ain't a dress rehearsal...it's the real thing.."

But isn't that the total pain of it all!

Just when you get some practise and experience with it and have a better idea what to do and what not to do....it's all over or it's too late..

I think God is just amusing himself here..

Thanks Simon,

Makes me smile.......good old days.

Well said.
I can relate to that infinitely more than with people who go around claiming they have no regrets.
Thanks for sharing.

The Ronai Lama, the Dalai Lama and Maya Angelou walked into a bar.....

The bartender said "Oh MY God the Tibetan spiritual leader, a great American poet and Ron who is a gangster on the Foro are in my bar. How blessed I am!"

The Dalai Lama said in a hushed, but perturbed voice:

"Can you cut the crap please? Pour us each a double whiskey, can't you see we've been out drinking last night at a religious conference and we are all three stupidly hung over?"

Well said, Ron... as a fairly recent member of the middle-age club, I get it.
