I noticed that the pinky side of my ring finger nails is hooking on the strings. I ramp it like this: \ and it hit's the string on the pinky side first and than travels to the thumb side. Have you any ideas to solve this problem? This feel of resistance is very annoying while playing. Thanks!

one thing that bugs me a lot is the outer side of my thumb nail which hooks into the strings while playing pulgar. I don't know if filing it down is the solution or just working on my technique. because I see a lot of players who have a rather flat and not round thumb nail but dont get their thumb hooked.
