Very cool shot of the top of Nino Migual's (??) head. I had no idea you could play a guitar in baking direct sunlight without f**cking it up.

Paco plays a Blanca in Carlos Saura's film "Flamenco" in 1995 and it is a Lester Devoe with wooden pegs.

Saura's film is Devoe negra....but yes he had a blanca too, and used an old esteso Blanca in Saura's second flamenco film 2011. Cositas Buenas video and album recorded with a Blanca by Vicente Carrillo, and throughout the 70's PDL used a Blanca Conde with Camaron and other famous singers (see rito y geografia). He also used a Ramirez blanca in the 70's. He first appears using the Negra in the late 1960's, and of course preferred to concertize with them throughout his career, but clearly had no predjudice against Blancas. In one interview he claimed the blanca was good for cante, but sounded to "soft" for what he wanted to do as a soloist.
