Historical stuff. Yes!!! Also, in a similar vein, how about a break down of the various sub-palos. I.e. each show you could take a different melody for the verses of solea and put together 5 or 10 minutes worth of explanations / examples with reference to key cantaoras. For example, one week could be what were the specific contributions to solea melody that came out of Triana (or any other town). Yes, it's been discussed here before, but too often we burn out and just discuss marmite instead. An audio account would be very useful. Similarly, why not have a 5 minute slot dedicated to a letra or two. Read the letra in good Spanish so people with poor Spanish can catch the words, translate line by line, and finally play some tracks with that / those letras. I'd be your #1 fan if you did that - especially if listenners could suggest the letras they'd like broken down [;)]. quote:
