I've been a casual finger style duffer on my old Martin D0018 for years. At age 77 I bought a Cordoba F7 with thoughts of learning more flamenco technique. Long story shorter, first three fingers and thumb went numb on left hand went numb after a few minutes.
Went to a neurologist , had a test and doc diagnosed my problem as "carpal tunnel"
Some ten days ago I had surgery on my left wrist under general anesthesia.
Now my left hand and fingers is working normally and no more numbness. Still healing but expect I'll be able to play the F7 in comfort.
