Nice picture of Manuel Reyes Hijo and you. I thought he closed the shop, so it's good to see he is still building. Are many of the guitar builders using modern tools like the American builder today? I missed my chance to get a free first class trip to Valencia, due to my health at that time. Manuel Adalid is a nice person and is very free with his building practice. And from a socio anthropological point I would have been happy to write a book on the modern Spanish builder, in my earlier days. I understand that right now it's a buyers market and deals sometimes have to be made to sell guitars but all in all the money is out there so it's imperative that guitar builders advertise their product. It seems that many players like shiny finishes on their guitars so I have started subcontracting to a french polisher to do that part of the process for me. It sure saves me a lot of time. Also, Zavaletas guitars has a nice advertising program to where they advertise the guitar for 15%, paid after you sell, while you keep it at your shop, so with your pictures in Spain and the surroundings of your shop, you should be able to construct some good impressions for their website. I'm thinking about it for myself.
