I was just fiddling with part of Czardas and adding a few basses... Just wondering how it's coming along? Thanks... This is from the Sabicas arrangement ( in a minor but with cejilla)

Very nice Juan. Thanks for sharing.

Here's a nice partition (from the free imslp.org) I was using to learn the guitar accomp a while back. Apart from anything else it's just nice because it calls the guitar a "violão" which is just awesome. The other thing that's nice is the tuning, that dropped B really messes with the basic chord shapes which makes this a good work out for both the brain and the left hand. Going back to standard tuning just feels easy when you've been working on this.

Thanks all for the comments. Thanks dudnote for taking the time and doing that. Now, I want to experiment in the original key which I just uploaded.@minorthang, thank you very much. Yes, I did study with Carlos Barbosa Lima back in the day. He would break down a section of a piece and could go on infinitely on how to interpret it. Really crazy! Amazing player and a genius of an arranger.

Here I'm experimenting in the original key.....

Very nice Juan.

I really liked the thumb and kind of missed it once the picado heated up. It's clearly way beyond my own technique, but would adding a bit more thumb on those picados be at all feasible?

wow juan again so cool - the first serious record i heard was well barbossa lima playing scarlatti really loved the recording

his arrangements of gershwin are insane

I guess you can use the thumb on certain parts if you are not gonna play the bass lines at the same time. You can definitely use plenty of pulgar at the beginning.

@Minorthang: Thanks... Agreed!
