Siatin -> Manuel Contreras Estudio 1981 (Jun. 25 2016 20:22:20) Can anyone advise I think two tiny surface cracks have appeared on my guitar on the lower bout ( at least had not noticed them before ) There is tiny movement when light pressure applied with thumb Should I be concerned? Also would you say this is a solid body or laminate? It says 1981 but is unsigned so I guess it's more of a factory made for Contreras Fingerboard seems to be ebony Top bout chip was always there since I had her a few months ago Any thoughts on guitar most welcome Thanks Images are resized automatically to a maximum width of 800px

Siatin -> RE: Manuel Contreras Estudio 1981 (Jul. 26 2016 11:23:20) I took my guitar to Pedro Moldonado's fantastic workshop in Torremolinos a few weeks ago and he kindly repaired the crack which was a quick inexpensive brilliant repair. He confirmed it was a crack that was in the solid wood and needed repairing before it elongated. He also confirmed that it was a lovely guitar and worth table the money I paid. I went away very happy and grateful to him Now playing this beautiful guitar every day and loving it
