One thing I have missed since discontinuing the "Off-Topic" section is your "Photo of the Week," Simon. Hope you recommit to that little gem. Always looked forward to it.

Hmm. So what Grisha track would go best with this photo?

How about this one?

Yes, that's it! At first I couldn't place it... "The Night Crew".

Nice work Simon.

Since we're on the topic of photography..
One of the photography projects that I'm particularly fond of is Paul Fusco's RFK Funeral Train. In 1968, he boarded the train that transported the remains of Robert Kennedy from New York to Washington DC. From there, he simply stayed put and took pictures of all of the different people who had come down to the railroad tracks to pay one last tribute. A few years ago, during the photojournalism festival Visa pour l'image in the South of France, they projected this work on large screen during their evening show. They lined the pictures up and made them slide across the screen, one after the other, as if we too were on that train. The effect was quite seizing. Though probably not Fusco's best work in terms of composition, it is a powerful set of photos that covers pretty much all of the different sides of American society.

The hardcover book includes text by Norman Mailer. However, they surprisingly managed to somewhat ruin the book by messing up the binding (the sides of some of the pictures "dissapearing" into the binding...)

Different photo subject matter...but, still interesting.
