I will be in London for 5 days and wonder if there are any flamenco shows on the weekend, 5/28-29? Many thanks. Hai.

The closest thing I'm aware of happening next weekend is this on Friday http://www.sadlerswells.com/whats-on/2016/wild-card-dotdotdot-dance/

Thank you Julian and Dudnote. After London, I will be in Poland and Czech Republic. Is Flamenco popular in Central Europe?

You could do worse than watch Anita and Ramon do their stuff:

Thank you Brendan. It looks like they'll have 2 shows that weekend. One at the Caffe Concerto on Irving st. on Sunday. I'll look into it. Again many thanks.

I did go to the Fiesta Flamenca show on Saturday at the St Ethelburga church and really enjoyed it. There were two sessions to the show. The first session was guitar oud percussion concerto. I would like it much more if there were more solo passages of each instrument. The second session was all flamenco with Ramon Ruiz and Anita la Maltesa. Anita was fantastic. She sang and danced non-stop the whole second session. The audience broke into loud applause several times during her captivating performance. The £12 ticket was a bargain for a wonderful evening in London!

I'm glad it worked out!

Thanks for taking the trouble to post a report.
