Hello friends i hope all of you are doing well.
Finally i planned to build my 1st flamenco from engelman soundboard and laminated back and sides
for 1st time using indian cedar for neck. i found it similar to spanish cedar.

i have thicknessed the soundboard to 2.1 mm on treble and 2 mm on bass side. i still find nice tap tone on it.
should i thin it more or leave it at this thickness.
bracing is 7 x 3 mm . it is sufficient?

radiused back to 25'

planning to make dome of about 1.5 mm in the centre and neck angle down to 2 mm.

will need some more help from u . pls guide me friends to make it sucessfull
i have uploaded some pics

I have a couple of suggestions:

Try to keep the top as clean as possible to avoid stains, indentations, scratches, etc.

Always lay a plane on its side to avoid damage to the cutting edge.

My suggestion is to try to do the assembly in a short period of time and in a period of relatively stable humidity.
And dont thin the top more.
