Fiddlerwill -> Searching an old record (Mar. 2 2016 20:02:32)
hi, glad to be here. Im hoping someone could help me trace an old Flamenco album. It was a father son duet, the father played guitar and the son sang. Who could it be? It was, if I recall , a recording of famous or well known players. On vinyl. Should be distinctive but I cant for the life of me find the album again.
In hope Cheers

Hi,
Just a suggestion.. try posting something here that sounds like it.
I think it will be easier to pinpoint what to look for. I wouldn't hold on to the father & son reference unless you're absolutely sure of it.

Oh yes, absolutely sure, they made a big deal of it on the cover. Father on guitar , son sang. i couldnt be sure exactly how traditional their approach was, but I think it was ' pure drop' . id say by my memory it was late 60s early 70's judgeing by clothes and hairstyles . I think i would recognise the album cover too though its been a decade or more since i had the album in my hands . Cheers

These are the guys, but a different album I believe. Which is in itself a delight., At last! My personality means this kind of thing just bugs me, whatever it is, an unsolved puzzle, a lost item.... i So , check them out if your not familiar with their music.
Big smile and a million thankyous. i remembered the father as theguitar player but it was the other way round.

That's why I said that in my earlier post. Memories can be tricky. [:D]
