koenie17 -> Our favourite lesson channels on youtube (Feb. 12 2016 21:11:22)

So many channels on youtube... so the idea is to share the good and usefull ones here.

Here´s some I´ve been using:

Loads of exercises and falsetas, some promotional videos for a membership site or packages. Everything played with a metronome and very nice sound and video quality. Great stuff!!
https://www.youtube.com/user/atrafanaschool

A bit of everything: cante, baile y toque. Great channel, they stopped posting a while ago but for me personally one of the best channels on youtube(Spanish)
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAuG2GB72PAg9Ky8lh4rQow

Jaime is a friend of mine who owns a very small tablao/Acadamy in Benalmadena
He is a student of Torombo(Sevilla). He´s a dancer but also sings and plays the guitar a littlebit. Nice videos about cante, toque, baile and COMPAS!(Spanish)

Nice channel on cante, not to much videos yet. But I like the set up. Comes with a bit of information on the chosen palo and letras in real time. Pretty good for acompany practice and for those who want to sing along(Spanish and kinda English)
https://www.youtube.com/user/CanteOnline/videos

Salva del Real has many great lessons on cante y baile acompanyment, a couple of years ago there was this monthly magazine "Acordes de flamenco"
They used to do like one palo a month with video(DVD) and tablature. I think they stopped printing it... or at least my kiosko stopped selling it.
For those of you interested, maybe you can order them online somewhere here:

here you can find some of his lessons on Youtube:

Mikael Sempere is a student of Manuel Granados. He started this channel on youtube with the intention to be like a library for falsetas. Didn´t post anything for a while now. You can find many legendary falsetas, all of the explained step by step(in spanish). He clearly put a lot of effort in his videos. Very good stuff!!

To be continued(hopefully[:D] )

Oh, I just posted Orhan's AtrafanaSchool YouTube channel, and it appears to be banned. Que pasa, Simon?

koenie17 -> RE: Our favourite lesson channels on youtube (Feb. 12 2016 21:47:00)

That's the same channel I've posted...

Why is he banned? It's a great channel

Yeah, sorry my YouTube filter code has a bug. I'll have a look at it.

Escribano -> RE: Our favourite lesson channels on youtube (Feb. 13 2016 10:08:59)

Fixed now. Please report any other problems as they appear.

a lot x levante.

Koenie, do you know the letra Jaime sings all the time on his bulerias?
Simply cannot seize it with my guiri ear

koenie17 -> RE: Our favourite lesson channels on youtube (Feb. 14 2016 9:41:39)

Thanxs mecmachin! Salva´s lesson are great. I´ll be adding all the channels you mencion in the first post so they can be found easier!

The letra por bulerías you´ve asked for:

Donde yo te veo (2x)
Dale este gusto a mi cuerpo
y aunque otra cosa no puedo.

Of course you could use any letra you want.
Here you can find many letras with examples: http://www.letrasdeflamenco.com

koenie17 -> RE: Our favourite lesson channels on youtube (Feb. 14 2016 10:12:22)

Loads of falsetas here[:)]

Escribano -> RE: Our favourite lesson channels on youtube (Feb. 14 2016 11:03:06)

This thread will get slower and slower to load as the code screens every YouTube link to filter out unwanted videos [:D] and embed the video if it is not a channel.

You have been warned.

mecmachin -> RE: Our favourite lesson channels on youtube (Feb. 14 2016 11:08:30)

THX for the letra man. All so obvious now

El Rey De los Bagres -> RE: Our favourite lesson channels on youtube (Feb. 14 2016 14:31:50)

Yeah that’s a great channel learnt some Paco falsettas from him and he plays them slow at ending so you can play together.

Another great channel i like very much is Tony Flamadeus.

[&:][&:]

I´m not sure if I understand this correctly...
If I post links to youtube channels this thread will get slow? My browser won´t let me post any embed videos!

How can I fix this please?

wow! what an archive. never seen this guys channel before. thanks!

Nito -> RE: Our favourite lesson channels on youtube (Feb. 17 2016 16:47:39)

Stu, the Mikael's channel was really amazing. I say "was" because he decided to leave his activity...

It's a pity, I have bought several packs (video + pdf). Now, all the video tutorials are public but the pdf are not available.
