Yes, thats a BIG loss for flamenco and I agree with lañador, the end of an era.

But thanks to Dudnote, this sad notice, for me ended up being one with a big smile on my face. What a wonderfull video you uploaded. Its so vibrant. Agujetas in his maybe best years and the guitar of Niño Jero fits absolutely perfect. Besides the majestry of the music, I really like the precense of the musicians. The way Agujetas comunicates with the audience after the first Bulerias por solea. The way he comunicates with Niño Jero during the playing, his attitudes towards the audience when they talk to loud. Its all there.

Olé Agujetas. seguirás cantando siempre.

These clips with Serva are good too he, was his prime. I saw in 2010 and 12 and he was still kicking it out.

It the movie Cantaor he shows a christ on the cross sculpture he made, quite large on his living room wall. Only one of the figures arms are nailed to the cross the other arm is hanging naturally. He said something like the cannot nail me up totally, I don"t remember exactly, but it was a great thing to see to understand how he was thinking.

Somewhere Agujetas said that he, La Paquera and Chocolate were the only ones still alive singing real flamenco. Now the last is gone.

After reading the article in ElPais I bought the cd-album "Viejo cante jondo" mentioned there. Great old style singing!!

However, I noticed that the title-list is in the wrong order. Here's a corrected version:
