Well I got Strawberryduck wrong, turns out Strawbury Duck is a pub - no wonder I could never find it on my maps of Lancashire, I should have been looking in the Real Ale Guide all along [:D]. quote:

Welcome to the foro JR. Ramsbottom has to be one of my favorite place names, up there with Strawberryduck. Welcome to the Foro, JR. Responding to Dudnote, I have always liked the town name of Intercourse, Pennsylvania, right in the heart of Amish country. Fantastic!! From wikipedia "The Amish are among the fastest-growing populations in the world, with an average of seven children per family". With town names like Intercourse they certainly got their advertising right.
