Hinoki and Spruce Flamenco guitars

Hinoki, Chamaecyparis obtusa is Japan's cousin to the Port Orford Cedar or Lawson Cypress. Like the other blonde woods used in making flamenco guitars it is a true Cypress.

I've been cutting Hinoki trees for future wood stocks and sourcing high quality seasoned Hinoki locally in Kagoshima. I've resawn and processed it into ribs and backs for flamenca blancas.

I have sets of seasoned tops, braces, and necks cut, joined with preliminary fabrication done in order organize the building process to make it faster and more accurate. From order to shipment my building times have become very fast.

These two flamencos are available: buyers choice or rosette, headstock, veneer, binding and other details. One ready to be built with pegs the other with tuners.
