Blondie#2 -> Opinions/info on Jose Ruiz Pedregosa guitars? (Jun. 30 2015 8:18:24)

Any info on these, anyone played one?

Nice headstock carving:

edit just found this: 'José Ruiz Pedregosa (b. 1958) is the only disciple of the Spanish luthier Jerónimo Peña Fernández'

and a claim that his guitars are very similar to Jeronimo's;

Yes I played one. Looks are great but sound was not in league with JPF ... At least the ones I have played. I admit I played the pedragosa first, maybe a year or so before I got a JPF in my hands for the first time.

Thanks Ricardo. Judging by the lack of info/ response it sounds like the maker is not that well known, not that label/rep is everything.
