NenadK -> guitar on la cava de los gitanos? (Jun. 19 2015 0:48:34)

I came across this song by Camaron a while ago and I can't for the life of me figure out who is accompanying. I can usually tell by the first falseta that it's either Tomatito or Paco but this one has me stumped. Whoever it is he has a beastly crushing guitar sound. I'd be surprised if there was anything left of that guitar by the end of this.

Anyone have any idea? Any other information about maybe the album it's on would be great as well.

If that's not Tomatito then I'm a gherkin. Could be off Flamenco Vivo, but my disc's gone walk about so can't check. The Nuestro double disk is similar, but song title doesn't match.

Just checked, title does match Flamenco Vivo.

That's it! Thank you.

I must say I'm a little embarrassed that I initially thought it was more likely that it was Paco than Tomatito. Tomatito is a pretty heavy handed player but I've never heard him quite like this before.

Cheers,

N

Tomatito always played like this in the beginning...based on video his guitar was super dry and probably quiet as he had to really drive it hard vs later on he lightened up a lot. If you don't have Camaron Nuestro, that is my favorite for this stuff.
