Guys guys, everyone relax, my cante CD will be out soon! Lol it's gunna be some solea, death metal, and mariachi all on one disk! Lol
I bought it twice cus I bought it digitally, liked it a lot and decided I wanted a hard copy.

I just said I don't like cante to irritate bitcharrone. I'll admit I was a bit put off by cante when I FIRST started listening to flamenco but now I can't get enough. It's like I didn't like the first beer I tasted as a kid and now .....well, y'all seen my belly. [:D]

I think you can out-do Ben Woods, and call it Flametachi! [:D] Has some Samurai vibe to it as well. [8D]

Thomas, that was the most refreshing thing I've heard in a long time. I absolutely loved the 'excursions' and the arrangement/orchestrations.

The music seems to veer into that 'ECM' style, which I love. But it does it entirely naturally and without artifice.

Beautiful composition and realization. I wouldn't buy this to 'support' anyone. I would (and will, if you do a release) buy this because it is simply wonderful.

Bravo. Fabulous work.

How do you make such high quality recordings? what types of mics do you use? did you record at a studio? or home grown studio...i've been using 2 condensor mics and can't seem to get good results. i know it's not all about the equipment, it takes super clean playing and etc. I seem to be always battling feedback, how close i sit to the mics, how high the pre ams are cranked, golpes coming in way to loud.

if these are secrets of the chef, i understand haha.

these days a good recording and sound quality do not depend on pricey and over hyped gear. It is important to know some basics though....

have a look here:
I recommend this guy's chanel, he knows his stuff and explains it eloquently and nicely down-to-earth.

another chanel you might find helpful is this one:

Good luck,
