I had the same experience several times with Hannabach. (no sharp edges, no nail problems etc) I think it has to do with the material used for the trebles, or an inproper technology on using that material. You may noticed it's a multifilament nylon vs. most of the trebles are made from monofil fibres. Of course that alone shouldn't make a problem, 'cause you can find very good multifilament strings, the EXP is a good example of it. And as I wrote it in another thread, these prices are VERY subjective, and not represent quality most of the time.
