Klunkerbill -> New (old) Guitar Day for Beginner? (Apr. 12 2015 0:09:29)

I am a total beginner to Flamenco and bought a cheap guitar on CraigsList today. Perhaps it was a mistake, as there are a few small cracks, but it was only $150US. The Cedar smelled so good, that's what sold me. Trying to find some info on the guitar, as I could find nothing 'out there' on this model. I know it's a cheap factory guitar, but there appears to be some life left in it. The rectangular label is tan with a red decorative border. It says "Constructor de Guitarras Sanchis Carpio, CALLE FOC, 10 VALENCIA, HANDCRAFTED IN SPAIN, No 011-1, Ano 1986, Mod. 3AF". It seems to have Spruce top, Cedar back and sides, Cedar neck and Rosewood neck overlay. It has the exact same rosette and label as on the Sanchis Carpio 2a on the Lasonanta site. I had seen on the internet. Can anyone tell me a bit more about it? Is it a solid wood guitar? I know the maker has been around for many years/generations and made/makes some fine guitars. This is NOT one, but I thought it might make a good 'couch' guitar, since my 7 y/o son with knock it over sooner rather than later. Is it worth fixing the cracks, or should I just play it as is? Thanks very much in advance.
