This thread is for translations from English to Spanish and from Spanish to English. If you have an English word or phrase that you want to know the Spanish translation for, or a Spanish word or phrase that you want to know the English translation for, post it here and maybe someone can help you.

Anyone know the Spanish for "I think I'll chop up my guitar and use it as firewood"? [:D]

whats the origin of the word seguiria or seguiriyas

Kate -> RE: ENGLISH/SPANISH & SPANISH/ENGLISH TRANSLATIONS (Jan. 3 2006 0:17:07)

From the word seguidilla which means a string or series. ie "Una seguidilla de contratiempos" a string or series of setbacks. I think this word comes out of the verb Seguir which means to follow.

Mexico, vente por tu gente. Literal translation: Mexico, come take your people back (basically). A phrase my father would use when I screwing up as kid.[:D]

I cant do a translation without the lyrics but bombonera means 'candy box' according to my dictionary, though it also depends on context.
