Hey, that's great! Have those windows always been there? It's been a while since I frequented the tube. I was in London year before last but I only took the underground from Canary Wharf to Waterloo for the Eye and to Bond Street for a corned beef sandwich and to buy a couple of polo shirts before heading off to southern Spain in early June. The Hilton at Canary Wharf was a good choice. Huge room, laundry service over the weekend, semi-decent (but over priced) restaurant, 24-hour room service, cheap room price, short walk to the tube. We had been traveling for weeks, Larisa had to go back to USA for school and work, so I mainly stayed in my room over the weekend. Not a bad idea, since the staff were astonishingly rude, except for the porters and one Italian clerk on the desk. Seemed to be mainly Asian tour groups there. I don't remember a single English person on the staff. An American woman who appeared to be the general manager sat at the next table and talked business. Wonderful photo--not just the windows--the people and the electric light fixture are just right. Love it. RNJ
