Just wanted to say hello. Not sure how much I will post because I am new to Flamenco but I will definitely chime in if something peaks my interests.

Do you have a flamenco guitar teacher? If not, getting one when you're starting-out can be really helpful for the purpose of developing proper technique (and avoiding acquisition of bad habits).

Not yet. I live in a sparse area for flamenco. Many classical instructors but very few flamenco. There are a few.

I know what you mean. Some teachers, including Ricardo here on the foro, offer lessions via Skype. That's a great resource if there aren't any teachers in your area.

Welcome! There's a wealth of information to be had here on the foro.

Hi! I used to live in NC. We have a member here who lives in Durham. I met him once and he seems like a really good guy. Here's his flamenco website.http://www.tocapurostudios.webs.com/
Don Dionisio is his user name. He once arranged to have Ricardo come to Durham. It was a great show.
