For a Santos flamenco build I'm planning high tension treble strings and medium tension bass strings to increase treble quality and responds. Has anybody else tried this and did that help.

I suggest you don’t try compensating for problems before you have tried the guitar out on fairly standard conventional strings like D’Addario EJ45 normal tension for example. Perhaps it will be perfect! If not get some opinions from other players and then think about whether string choice might improve the aspects that you don’t like. Don’t expect miracles though. Rob

Would a closing bar on only bottom left fan bars improve treble quality and response ?
