Vince -> Braces and bridge position (Jan. 30 2015 19:08:22)

I have studied a lot of bracing patterns in the last years.
Almost every bracing pattern has a brace directly under or very close to the end of the bridge wings.
With a 7 strut bracing pattern the bridge end is more or less automatically in this area.
With a 5 strut pattern like Babero etc. the brace one and five is also near the bridge wing end.
The five strut pattern from Anders and some other luthiers, which I have seen here in another thread is i.m.o different.
What is the theory behind this?
