Hi Archie, You can also on the internet find some interesting papers on Flamenco from Master's and Doctorate degree candidates. Not only are they interesting to read, but they also include some good references. The Paco de Lucia book (Paco Sevilla) is really good, and pleasant to read. It has a lot of good information. The Paco de Lucia book (Don Pohn) was going for over $ 100 USD on the internet last year. The Paco de Lucia book Flamenco legend (ebook Amazon) was a quick read. Paco played guitar very fast, drove cars very fast , and chased after beautiful women when he was single . (There is more, but you get the idea.) If you want a neat snapshot of Paco, search in Youtube. There is a young interviewer about 11 years old who interviews him backstage. He asks some very good questions and Paco responds with very honest and sincere answers. At the end of the interview, Paco ask the interviewer his name and then tells him his name in Spanish. The young interviewer beams a big smile at the camera. It is a very sweet interview and shows how Paco's music reached all age groups. Great topic!
