I've been messing around with the drum kit on the iPad and I'm not too impressed with my results. I was trying to make a bulerias in 6 loop from paquito Gonzales. Sounds like a metronome even when I try to add swing.

Sr. Martins -> RE: Making percussion loops with GarageBand (Dec. 27 2014 19:37:08) GB is a DAW like anyother. What you might want to do is learn how to use a sampler within GB (or another DAW). This way you can use piano roll to input the attributes of the samples, change velocity, humanize timings, etc.

Sr. Martins -> RE: Making percussion loops with GarageBand (Dec. 28 2014 18:38:50) There are lots of plugin based (vst, au, etc) sample libraries. Just find one with the sounds you need. Take a look at Kontakt ones to get a grip of the thing.
