It's about time I made another documentary, but I sold my video gear. Thankfully, my wife has lent me the old DSLR that I sold her, and with some bits I still had lying around, I have managed to put together some gear on a budget that will get me started.
Canon 550D/Rebel T2i, Magic Lantern hack, Canon 28-135mm IS lens on a monopod
This is a test with no audio, shot this morning in full HD recorded at 1.4x the bitrate of the standard camera. Put it into HD and fullscreen for the best view.
I will be getting some ND filters to open up the lens in bright light for that trendy shallow focus, like this one I did of my dog last night.
