Here's the tab for the little tremolo falseta I uploaded in the upload section.

HMerry Xmas

flyeogh -> RE: Taranta Tremolo falseta (Dec. 24 2005 9:16:16)

Anders I get "not created by a registered copy of tabedit" Any thoughts??

Great to see in the video that Nimbus is getting clever with the zoom facility for the left hand. He'll soon be making films like rio[:)]

steve -> RE: Taranta Tremolo falseta (Dec. 25 2005 0:54:38)

OOPS!........[:)], I get the same thing. Thanks for the attempt.

HO! HO!. HO!.....everybody

Guest -> RE: Taranta Tremolo falseta (Dec. 25 2005 10:09:40)

I have no idea about this "not registered user" I've been a registered user for some years now.
One thing I know that I did not pay for these kind of troubles. I'm sorry but my time is not for investigating silly things like this.[:(]

Doitsujin -> RE: Taranta Tremolo falseta (Dec. 25 2005 10:14:40)

I cant open the file... [:(]

Francisco -> RE: Taranta Tremolo falseta (Dec. 25 2005 15:11:35)

I opened it just fine, and must say, it has a much more pleasant melody than my current tremolo exercise. Think I'll switch to this one for a while. [:D]

Thomas Whiteley -> RE: Taranta Tremolo falseta (Dec. 25 2005 16:08:06)

Anders;

Thank you for a great tremolo study! It is nice to have short pieces like this as they hold more interest and actually give you a great exercise as compared to playing a five minute piece.

I like studies that are from a specific palo. If you learn several variations of the same one then it gives you something to use interchangeably with the other segments that you know.

As you know I use TablEdit, and have over 2000 files of original work – no transcriptions from anyone with copyrights! On occasion I will receive an e-mail that a message is received – “not created by a registered copy of tabedit”. I think I have received 4 such e-mails during the last five years. It is a pain and consumes much time to resolve this problem.

Hi Thomas.

Do you have any ideas of what this means?

Anders

steve -> RE: Taranta Tremolo falseta (Dec. 25 2005 17:38:26)

These kind of problems are often inexplicable. Why some systems will open a file and others won't, with the same software, can make the sender and the receiver nuts trying to figure out the problem. I've updated to the current telv version, re-downloaded the file and still can't get it to open. So here's a possible solution to those of us that would like it, but can't get it to open normally. If Samwise or Thomas, since they can open it, or anybody else that's had success with this, open the file, take a screen shot (press "print screen" key), open "Paint", edit tab, "paste" option, save as Jpeg, and post it as such in the Foro. We of course won't get any sound with a jpeg, but we'll have the exercise.
thanks for any help and thanks to Anders for sharing.

Steve

It can be due to a number of problems such as but not limited to Anti Virus programs and Firewalls as well as Operating Systems. That is only the beginning! [:D]

Thomas Whiteley -> RE: Taranta Tremolo falseta (Dec. 25 2005 21:23:56)

For those unable to open Anders tef file, try this one and let us know if it works or not.

steve -> RE: Taranta Tremolo falseta (Dec. 25 2005 22:51:34)

Hey Tom,

This file opened up just fine for me.
Also, I tried shutting down Zone Alarm to see if it was interfering with the download but still couldn't open it without an error notice.

Thomas Whiteley -> RE: Taranta Tremolo falseta (Dec. 26 2005 2:22:17)

Steve;

This gets interesting! Try this!

steve -> RE: Taranta Tremolo falseta (Dec. 26 2005 4:12:32)

[:(]NOPE......this is interesting.....hehe

steve -> RE: Taranta Tremolo falseta (Dec. 26 2005 4:17:49)

Tom,

On your end, what is the difference between the one I coud open and the last one I couldn't?

Guest -> RE: Taranta Tremolo falseta (Dec. 26 2005 7:44:33)

Hmmm computers....[8|]

Tom's first file is another falseta, and the second is the same as mine.

koella -> RE: Taranta Tremolo falseta (Dec. 26 2005 11:23:06)

Well Anders seems you have a mature tremolo of your own. Makes me still want to practise more on it.[&:]

Well at this point, since no one is going to post it as a jpeg, I'm condemned to picking it off the video........Golpe, Golpe, Arrgggg!!!..........LOL

Simple! It works! [:D]

Sorry for that. I hope we can find out the answer. Do not give up.

1. What version of TablEdit do you use?

2. Which Operating System and service pack?

3. Firewall?

4. Anti Virus?

5. Type of computer?

6. Browser and Version?

Now how do I upload a jpeg on this forum? I have tried checking "Embed picture in post" with no luck. I tried converting to a PDF and it lost 3/4's of the information.

steve -> RE: Taranta Tremolo falseta (Dec. 26 2005 18:00:55)

Tom,

Here's a thought. Email the jpeg(s) directly to me, I'll see if I can get it into PowerTab correctly, and post it back to the forum for those having trouble with Telv.

Thomas Whiteley -> RE: Taranta Tremolo falseta (Dec. 26 2005 21:12:51)

I do not have your e-mail address. This is such fun! [:)]

Guest -> RE: Taranta Tremolo falseta (Dec. 26 2005 21:28:35)

And they called me trouble maker[8D]

Thomas Whiteley -> RE: Taranta Tremolo falseta (Dec. 26 2005 21:30:51)

[:D][:D][:D]

steve -> RE: Taranta Tremolo falseta (Dec. 26 2005 22:00:57)

It is fun...............
Tom, click on the little envelope to the right of my post name and you got it........

I gotta get a life......LOL

steve -> RE: Taranta Tremolo falseta (Dec. 28 2005 18:49:30)

[:D]For those interested. Here's the PowerTab version of Anders tremolo exercise. At the 15th measure, he does a note or two before he gets to that chord in the video that isn't written in this tab.

Thanks Tom, Anders

steve
