HolyEvil -> Pro Arte carbon string? (Sep. 24 2014 23:52:52)

Since we are on the topic of tingy strings on the other thread.
Just wondering whether anyone tried pro Arte carbon strings.
I like the dynacore and composite strings, just wondering whether the smaller diameter carbon treble strings would give a better feel and brighter sound?

I completed their survey in time, so my Pro Arte carbons are supposed to be on their way.

I'm very curious, 'cause I really like their dynacore set, but doesn't like the pro arte series. Let You know when I got them.

For me, the problem with Titanium trebles was that those strings are very loose. You can easily put them off the fingerboard. They are confortable (soft) and sound nice.

The dynacore basses are great (45 at least)!

Exactly my experience.
Sound and feel of the trebles were cool, but had the same "problem" which you described above. Specially with the E string. Basses were good.
