Al Andalus -> hello (Sep. 20 2014 3:26:46)

Been studying flamenco guitar seriously since 2011 though I began 'dabbling' in it as early as 2002. Anyway, I've gone through tangos, fandangos, solear por bulerias, alegrias. seguriyas, and am now working on bulerias. I have two solo pieces by Paco which are currently in a state of continual refinement. Its all challenging, but that goes without saying. Flamenco is the real deal.

Thanks.

I'm a 'New Worlder' from what I refer to as the Mid-Atlantic states region:

In my part of this geographic area there weren't too many flamenco guitar teachers around going back 10 years. So I was trying things out by myself and just dabbling here and there through the Dennis Koster books. Now though, I have an actual teacher and progress far more steady. Its still a very challenging art though.
