You may have to pay an extra premium, especially since you are travelling with the guitar. I know about the limit, like £1000 max on instruments etc under their usual Householder policy, but once I phoned my insurance company up to specifically insure my guitars and they said to send in the receipts or an official valuation letter and they'd insure them to that value at no extra cost! cheers Ron
