Fransico Navarro student model can be had for 850.00 with case and shipping included. Google Ron Hudson at Memorial Music in Texas and he will hook you up.

Where are you based? Depending on your region, a better deal may be available closer to you.

am from singapore... not very easy accessible for a hunt on good flamenco guitars.. we have yahama flamenco here, cordoba 7F, Alhambra, Azahar, almansa and others will be more professional build like condor, ramirez...

i have set my eyes on Francesco Navarro and i may wanna getta Negra with rosewood side as the picture seen on the website is so beautiful.. am sure it feels and sounds like a flamenco too ;)

I'm very happy with my Mundo Flamenco 3AF (their house model) all massive wood blanca (cypress body, spruce top). As I was told by the well known guitar maker Stenzel the wood is of high quality and the build solid.

As with all factory guitars the set up can be improved quite a bit by a luthier or by yourself if you know how and what...

They ship internationally (google for Mundo Flamenco in Freiburg, Germany).

Regarding the Almansa 447 I would suggest to find an older one. This model was modified 2010. The older version of this model is a bit less aggressive but with powerful punchy growling basses and ringing trebles that you can feel the percussion in the belly. The new version is good as well but doen´t provide this special sound.

Provided consistency in production.
Such an Almansa had me make an ebay seller to take it back some 15 years or so ago. It was a bulky feeling dud. Only cosmetics of the cypress were remarkable.

Having said that, maybe it was transported through rainy days. As I expereinced later on, such can matter drastically.

Well thanks for the info on mundo guitars... have checked the nice website out.. but i am not really fond of flamenco guitars made in china..i have checked this luthier out Francesco Navarro and i maybe getting his student blanca...

i dont know if anybody would say a Francesco Navarro student blanca would have a more authentic feel and sound of a flamenco guitar?

Francesco Navarro > cordoba F7, Alhambra 7F, Almansa 447 ?

You can be shure to get an authentic flamenco sound and feel. It makes no difference to authenticity if the guitar is a blanca or a negra. The negra will have more frequency range and more powerful basses compared to a blanca. The "price" for the extras of the negra is a little bit less aggression while the blanca provides more sharpness. That´s all.

Thanks alot bernd ! i will be sure to contact Ron to getta Francesco student grade... shall i say a Negra will be more of a hybrid ? classical and flamenco where a blanca is strictly flamenco style huh?
