Hi all,

Been poking around at flamenco for years, continue to be horrible at it, really - I know the emphasis in bulerias and can clap along for about 24 beats before I lose it again. hope to change all that.

Welcome to the foro.

You're absolutely right to be focusing on learning to keep the compas. You might want to consider trying some of the other palos, as well (e.g. tangos, fandangos, solea, and solea por bulerias). You may find some of them easier than the bulerias compas you're trying to learn at the moment. Just a suggestion.

Also, note that you can learn bulerias in either 6's or 12's.
