Ya Stephen San, you really managed to cheer me up. hehe [:D] Crazy guy! ;O) We got through the last poison attack alright, and Susie ( the one most effected this time) appearing kind of like Parkinson with the neural damage, seems to almost fully recover until now ( which I would had not thought ... Just like the vet did not think her to survive to begin with ). She seems to have understood that she has been rescued, now being even more affectionate to me than before. In the midst of all that It became clear that a mean infection of their paws has set in ( Doc saying it could easily led to amputations). Another procedure involving heaps of antibiotics, desinfecting and applying diverse ointments twice daily to all of them. But at last, after 2 months now reconvalescence is obvious. Yet, there is left something that makes the males balls skin tear and them licking themselves all over obsessively. With Hermann´s case almost ceased now, but Charly still far from being back to normal. I suspect mites or fungus. Mites are known to flourish with dry climate, but the all present fungi here can only come enforced from unhygienical / careless customs. Anyway, needless to say, the health conditions for animals here are driving me nuts. - I´ll keep that in mind about vilone players. No sex with Anne-Sophie Mutter! ;O| quote:
ORIGINAL: Stephen San Ayn Rand was wrong. All wrong about capitalism, and she accepted welfare when she did not make enough bank selling her terrible raspingly written books. I am certain that you are being aware of such being only superficially / moralistically contradictive. Marx was receiving donations from Engels too. Would that lessen anything on the conclusiveness of his analysis? Nyiet a bit. - Not long after Deng Siao Ping´s new direction, Der Spiegel reported on the traditional "master race" doctrine of the Chinese ( which at that time no Joe like me would had guessed ). Something laying dormant / apparently reviving with the economical uphill and which together with a traditionally desastrous attitude towards environment ( despite of currently them taking the largest measures of environmentally friendly introductions) might be occuring to a prospective rest of the world. quote:
ORIGINAL: Rui Martins You're going to die. We all are. Human intelligence doesn't mean that it is used for the best, our obvious auto destructive patterns prove that. What's new? Rui, you can´t be serious with this kind of nonchalant truisms. So, is there no relativity left over? No difference between con- and destruction, between peace or war, between the fact of fox-eating chicken and its example to the contrary? Will the fact of an ending life ( which besides even must not be inevitable in terms of relativity either, while science is about to remove the self-destructive mechanisms in the metochondria ) render everything equal? If the given circumstances were to be inevitable, do you think guys like me would be growing grey hair over it? The point is the absolute NEEDLESS being of the happening destruction. And on top of that the misproportion when an evolution of billions of struggling years gets ended by a NEEDLESSLY devastating species that occured yet in the last nano second of the evolutionary track. On the way to Laotse´s cute little analogies of tao you might not want to forget the phenomenon of differenciation and relativity. It keeps mattering. And at times, as ordinary as it may be appearing on first sight, it even presents the core of a matter. What is not new? Cultures that preserved their environment. They have occured / are possible. Awareness and appreciation are possible. And as guys like me claim: Self-evidently so, for what is supposed to be thinking species. Ruphus
