The new sanchis have a carbon add .

Do you think it's better ,same or worst ?

I would say its "safer".

I heard that they are making the necks thinner so this must be a safety measure.

How did that happen?! This Arce owner's dying to know.

the angle of the headstock is so sharp (backward like a lute) that inside the case, it takes the brunt of impact if slammed on it's back. I didn't notice before the neck was not supported in there. At some point during travel and checking guitar in baggage many times. I played for months before noticing it was not fully attatched, only the strings (6 and 1) and the front veneer where holding it on!!! When I had it glued back on, my friend that did the job noted there was no old glue in there...it seems it was never glued and that he even suspected the sharp angle as part of deliberate design. I now support the neck inside the case.

But a few years back, I played with Jason McGUire and company in california...I was back stage and had the guitar standing on its tail in the case...Mr Jermaine Jackson was an audience member and at one point all these people wanted to rush in and get a photo with him, and some guy accidentally knocked the case over on it's FRONT (so a sort of whiplash) and once again it separated. I was able to perform with it, though Jason was quite nervous sitting to my right (where it could have potentially sling shot into him if the thin veneer cracked), and got it fixed when I got back home. We used even more glue that time.

Thanks for posting the link.
I was particularly perplexed by the description of the guitar on the sales site.
It reads as follows.........

Quote:
Extra 1F Guitar cypress is extra model range where manteniene simpre flamenco essence of pure flamenco. Designed for professional use, meeting all the needs that this conlleba and they need, both personally and instrumentally, adapting it and keeping it active all his life, thanks to their design that can adapt and maintain toilet personality.
End Quote.

I must admit ,I do love to play guitar whilst on the "s hitter" but would love a guitar with its own 'toilet personality' to chew the cud with when my right hand technique is waning and the effort is being pushed in a different direction!
I assume they really mean 'tonal personality ' but its an amusing line!!
