"María, Cristina, Sevilla" brengen drie verschillende artistieke disciplines amen die desalniettemin onlosmakelijk met elkaar verbonden zijn. Flamenco gitaar is niet los te koppelen van de klassieke gitaar en de composities van Albeniz, Falla of Joaquín Turina zijn duidelijk beïnvloed door de Andalusische muzikale traditie. Cristina Hall, met haar brede kennis van flamenco en moderne dans, zal dit plastisch weergeven en duidelijk maken dat "puro" (puur) in de flamenco alleen bestaat in figuurlijke zin, oprecht en diepgaand. Deze drie immigranten zullen met een frisse kijk en hinkend tussen traditie en avant-garde, de flamenco ontleden en voor zichzelf opnieuw opbouwen.

Spil van María, Cristina, Sevilla is Cristina Hall, een uitstekende danseres die onlangs nog met Andrés Marín optrad tijdens het flamenco festival in Fez en vorig jaar het podium deelde met Manuela Ríos tijdens het Flamenco Festival van Jerez.

"María, Cristina, Sevilla" is a show that brings four different artistic disciplines together. Dance, singing, classical guitar and flamenco guitar. Flamenco players were strongly influenced by classical guitarists and composers such as Albeniz, Falla or Joaquin Turina were inspired by thr Andalusian music tradition. Cristina Hall, with her extended knowledge of flamenco and modern dance, will represent this connection and prove that "pure" in the flamenco only exists in a metaphorical sense, sincere and profound. These three immigrants will take a refreshing look at flamenco and standing between tradition and avant-garde they will dismantle and rebuild it for themselves....
Key figure of the group is Cristina Hall, an outstanding dancer who has managed to work with Andrés Marín at the flamenco festival in Fez and in last years edition of the flamenco festival of Jerez de la Frontera together with Manuela Rios.
