Stinky Kitty -> Hello Everyone! (Feb. 14 2014 1:04:07)

Greetings!

I don't normally do these introductions, but here goes...

I found your forum while researching the purchase of a guitar that has rekindled my passion for classical/spanish guitar. To make a long story shorter, finding online support here is synchronous with my resolve to guide the circuitous route of my musical experiences toward the music that stirs my soul deeper than any other.

The mathematical precision of much classical guitar music is all well and good for building technique and theory, but the music of many Spanish composers that move me. However stirred my blood is by them, it is flamenco and the music of the gypsies heat it to a boil.

I'm looking forward to learning a great deal in the coming years.

If anyone knows of a solid flamenco teacher in the SeaTac area, please let me know.

Welcome aboard!

You got it right, flamenco rules and classical drools lolol jk.....kinda

Ethan Deutsch is in your area, he's got luthier of the month from guitar salon a lil while ago and studied with Diego del Gastor so you know he's legit, and he's a member here. I'm pretty sure he teaches at least.....anyways, he's here.
