Emil_Krasich -> How do you shape your thumbnail for pulgar/alzapua (Feb. 11 2014 12:11:25)

Just wondering how folks shape their thumb. I was keeping it fairly short and ramping it so that the higher part of the nail is away from the hand. This worked fairly well for me for years but have seen lots of folks with longer thumb nails sloping in the opposite direction so I opted to try sloping the other direction with mixed results (perhaps not long enough?).

Just wanted to open up the discussion for what would perhaps be the most efficient for pulgar, alzapua, and rasgeados. I can certainly see the advantage of sloping/ramping towards the hand to keep the thumb more parallel to the strings.
