Buenas!

I was wondering if any of you extranjeros were able to obtain tickets to the Festival in Jerez? I'm temporaily living in Granada, Spain, but do not have a spanish bank card. Only American Visa's...

Sorry if this is the wrong place or has been asked before, but i seem to have overheard some other non-spain residents being able to purchase tickets from overseas.. Hope it's not like ALSA and public transport here which can only be purchased online with spanish cards, which has been a real headache. I should have just got one in the first place but my time here is almost up, back to reality.

You used to be able to buy tickets to the performances at the office in Jerez during the festival, with cash. Guess some will sell out in advance and it may have changed since I went.

At alsa you buy it in the bus or at the bus station. Same thing in jerez, you buy the ticket at the concert or at shops that sell the tickets before the concert. You can google up the festival site and read places where they sell them

You can go only in the peñas and extra things.

generally the perforamnce at villamarta,compania.... are cold.

and you keep your money for drinking.[8D]

thanks for the help

I normally buy the but tickets at the stations, but what I meant was on the website you can get a ticket with only a spanish credit card, which seems to be the case more often than not.

I was planning on going around to more of the penas anyways, but I was really looking forward to seeing tomatito play, taking a bus to jerez and back to grab tickets isn't exactly what i'd like to do... Do most of the events sell out?

I was there 2 months and wanted to visit the peña flamencas but they were closed most of the time and had no opening hours written on the doors. Also it was zambomba season... I really like flamenco alot more in the peñas than in the concerts
