Aretium -> Some Picado exercises/runs i transcribed (Jan. 27 2014 21:16:47)

I have a collection of picado runs and exercises ive tabbed, is it ok to post them, most of them are from paco's stuff and some i made myself and some are sort of taken from here and there. Anything dodgy about posting them, they really help me as a day to day warmup/exercise so I hope they can help others.

Absolutely fine, maybe if you scanned em right out of a book and you wanted money for em. Otherwise I'm pretty sure it's fine.

Would love to get my hands on the material. Would also be great if one of our maestro members could do a video sample of the runs...

Here they are, One in tab one in notation because I find it easier like that, if you like tab whats the point in notation right? [:D] They start of with exercises then the last pages are more melodic random stuff. Hope they help someone like they did me, obviously everyone has their own way of learning.

If someone wants an alternative file format just shout.

p.s someone check them as well hehe

I seldom use tablatures but for this kind of stuff they are quite useful. Thanks for posting!

the one that says "Something I robbed from the Foro, cant remember what it is" is farruca. I think posted by Florian.

Yes, Florian posted it. But it's from a Tangos de Málaga by Pedro Sierra:

yes, and yes.

the special skill is "picado" technique aka alternating index and middle finger rest stroke (indice y medio apoyando)

practise it over and over!
