He really is amazing. He has such an advanced understanding of harmony and melody.

Morante -> RE: Amos Lora (Dec. 16 2013 15:34:35)

Spain is replete with "amazing" guitarists. What is needed is a few amazing cantaores[:(]

Here is one, I think. Abraham Motos from Caño Roto (only 13/14 years old I think) that I saw in Madrid:

Here is a promo for a documentary "Children of flamenco"
Don't know if it is available already

rombsix -> RE: Amos Lora (Aug. 4 2016 23:33:23)

What on earth? Did this guy take steroids both for his body and his guitar playing? [:D]

Leñador -> RE: Amos Lora (Aug. 4 2016 23:42:06)

Holy cow! He's only like 16/17!!! Oy, somethings up....

He does a flag calisthenics move in the Rumbossa video clip, so perhaps he's been training like crazy? It seems like he just ballooned in a couple of years, though. Intense!

Leñador -> RE: Amos Lora (Aug. 5 2016 1:20:36)

Yeah I suppose if all you do is train and practice it could be possible.....

estebanana -> RE: Amos Lora (Aug. 6 2016 1:19:37)

See even Arash finds the Foro once in a while.

There are kids who play great, but like Morante says how about some kids who are great singers? The kid reminds me of Jeronimo Maya in the 90's

Truly beautiful. Thanks for posting.

Manitas de Lata -> RE: Amos Lora (Nov. 7 2024 13:14:54)

new album , melting pot where you can find everthing thats "modern", only really enjoyed 3 tracks (the less "modern").
Many "al di meola" style tracks , lot of rumbas , lot of Diego Cigala style etc
