I just had to share this since i found this answer so "cool" from a guy from that time!
While Oliver de Triana was talking about the old times (30s) in their club meeting together with Mairena, El Gloria, etc. in Rito, he said everyone was drinking lots and lots of wine, but he never ever drank in his life. He was then asked why he never drank specially while singing.
His answer was "its when i hear the guitar, only then i get drunk". Ole! ;)
Now while watching the old man, i had one of my weird analogy moments again and his look somehow reminded me on uncle junior from Sopranos. Specially when he said that everybody was a butcher at that time [:D]
