Those were my own observations, but i buy your explanation. As a matter of fact i tend to do a similar thing in a very quick picado run of Vicente's Alegrias. I was part of the supporting act for the Rosenberg trio during their 1993 doelen concert. The base player told us he actually would have loved to become a flamenco guitar player himself but lacked the skills to play it. Obviously they completely outplayed us that night... their second halve included Concierto de Aranjuez :-)

That has always been my experience of Gypsies they are free in their admiration of styles not their own and quite blase about their ability in their 'home' style.

First Sinti guitarist I met asked me for lessons. All the payo's changed their attitude after that. Funny that.

No reason for jealousy, we didn't share a room (nor a drink) and before the concert i was to busy preparing my own piece anyway (it included a fragile self made alegrias intro everybody loved very much). After my contribution my first concern was to find myself a nice seat in the audience in order to enjoy their concert. My father talked with them a bid longer and would not have mind to spend some time with them to annotate their music but it never came to that, despite the fact a friend of mine (the violonist of Flairck) was married to the engineer of their first record. The first time i ever heard them play was during that wedding but unfortunately they broke a string during that gig. I (temporary) lost interest in them when they started to explore other kinds of music like the Beatles, Paco de Lucia etc..

It has 2 syllables, has a flowing and elegant european sound, even sounds like a name like Denis or an elegant sport like tennis. It also has a deceiving character with its innocent sound. Penis doesn't need any additional adjective to substantiate its legitimacy or to compensate its weakness.

In Persian, we have the same phenomenon.
We have the word "kir", which is the equivalent to cock.
Look, its even shorter. And its also often used in fights with a lot of adjectives.
And then we have the cute version "doodool", equivalent to Penis.
Notice the similarity: 2 syllables, longer word. Nice sound and extremely deceiving character.

There´s a difference between a small kid and a small adult.
Kids are more flexible and will grow up and get the appropiate size for a standard size guitar.
Being 152 and with relatively small hands and arms can be a problem. And an adult cant say that she´ll grow away from her size problem.
I dont think you need a kids guitar and if you get one you might find it boring because it´ll lack the power and response of a full size guitar.

If money is not a problem, you can have a guitar built for you.
I would recommend a small body adult guitar based on Santos Hernandez.
I wouldnt recommend anything with a scale shorter than 640mm and I dont think the scale is the main problem. You could go for a 50mm nut width or 48 if you have thin fingers, but since you yourself say that you´re voloptuous, most probably your fingers are as well.
The thickness of the neck, can go down to about 20mm at the nut and 23mm at the 10th fret.
A guitar like that would feel very small in my hands and I would have problems holding it well, but it would be easyer for you.
And remember that if you practice, your hand will open up and your stretch will be bigger. Even though I´m a right hander, the stretch of my left hand is way bigger than that of the right hand.

quill--not sure where you live but if you have a luthier in your neck of the woods you might want to check him or her out and see what possibilities there are for you. as anders pointed out necks can be made pretty thin and flat which may be a big plus.

as to the fractional guitars (they are smaller than the "standard" dimension guitar), i have not seen a flamenco but there are several classical models out there and testing them out for data on sizes might work.
