TGerman -> Teachers in New York? (Nov. 13 2013 10:13:05)

Hey Guys,

I'm wondering if anyone knows a good teacher here in New York, preferably on Long Island but if not that's ok. If I can't find one the next step would be skype lessons, but for now I would prefer face to face.

Thanks everyone.
Todd

All the names listed by Ricardo are great choices. There is an Argentinian flamenco guitarist by the name of Jose Maria Moreno with whom I took lessons years ago in the NYC area who is great. He is a top notch player but he was always busy touring with his band. Not sure where he is now though.

Where on Long Island are you? I don't know of any flamenco teachers there (you have to go to the city) but I'm happy to jam or show you some things when I'm there (usually for a few weeks in December and in the summer, visiting family).
