helpfish -> old Alhambra guitar - LOST (Oct. 30 2013 8:24:00)

Hi.

I own a guitar, but I dont know much about guitars. I think its a pity that the guitar isnt in use.
I have been in contact with Alhambra in Spain. They told me that with the serial number 000362 its from juli 1980. Its in good shape as it hasn't been used very much.

It still smells great when I take it out of the guitarbox. It almost has no scratches. But what to do about it? Is an old guitar like that worth anything.
I realize that a new one is worth around 1000- 1100 euroes.

I hope some of you guys can give me a good advice.

To me this looks like an Alhambra classical guitar with a cedar top, and if this is true then the sides and back are probably a dark brown wood as well, such as mahogany. Can you post a picture of the label inside the soundhole? That might offer some more clues.

Find out what model you have, then check the completed listings on eBay.

Hello, from the picture it seems that the fretboard is mahogany, if that is the case your guitar is a student model.
